Could Your Next American Idol Be Goth Emo?

Since Chris Daughtry auditioned on American Idol a few years ago, the stream of people from the different genres of music have begun trying out. The first few seasons were limited to bubble gum pop type people and music, and Chris Daughtry being the first rocker to make to program, the audition doors to American Idol have opened up.

Goth Emo is now included in the genre of music and people to find themselves standing in line for hours hoping to be the next American Idol. On last night’s audition show, the first goth emo girl was shown trying out for the show. This one time wrestler, unfortunately didn’t make the cut, however the doors have been opened to this popular genre of music!

Ryan Cabrera Is Now Emo Goth Emoguy Freak!

Ryan Cabrera is no longer an icon for pop music. He has shed his former good boy pop image for something a little darker. Ryan Cabrera is now emo goth emoguy freak.

Ryan recently showed up to an interview in purple skinny jeans, newly dyed black hair and black hat. Is the change too late to win back former girlfriend Ashlee Simpson? Now I'm not implying that Ryan changed his appearance and musical style to win Ashlee back, but it is ironic the new Ryan Cabrera look comes just one month after Ashlee Simpson was photographed with the same goth emo look to compliment her now boyfriend Pete Wentz.

Not only did Ryan change his look, he also changed his musical style. His new album is due out in the spring. Ryan was nice enough to include a song on there for his existing fans, but that is it, one song. Ryan is hoping that his old fans can make the cross over with him.

Goth Music is it Losing an Icon

For many years Marilyn Mason has been of the few Goth music Icons, but has he gone soft?

On his new album Eat Me, Drink Me Marilyn seems to be conflicted. Per Manson the album was inspired by both the divorce from Dita Von Teese and the marriage to current wife Evan Rachel Wood. In that he also rekindled his friendship with Twiggy Ramirez. So I ask is Manson gone soft.

He claims the up and coming tour is going to be of the tradition of all of his other shows, but more intense. Manson has referred to the new tour as, "completely blow things up. Like it used to be, but worse for everyone. I wouldn’t even go to the show. Stay at home. It's gonna be a nightmare."

In regards to the reunion with Twiggy Manson states that it is not for the music, but simply the friendship. Now this reunion has caused Tim Skold to lose his job because apparently Twiggy and Tim do not get along.

I have yet to hear the new album, but I am looking forward to it. I hope he has not sold out, but it happens.

Goth Emo Guys Making It Commercials!

To tell you the truth I was a little surprised at the new Kraft singles commercial. The commercial shows a Goth emo guys in his bedroom painting a small statue of some sort. Mom delivers a grilled cheese to the bedroom that has a huge do not enter sign on the door with a black light peering out from under the door.

Mom calls for her son, who sticks out his hand donning black nail polish to accept the grill cheese. Just then the black light peering out from under the door is now a bright yellow "normal" light.

Is Kraft suggestion that their Kraft Singles (a processed cheese product) would instantly change the dark nature of the goth emo guys to bright and sunny? On the flip side they could be saying that their cheese product appeals to everyone, and the processed cheese product would actually brighten your day?

Hello Kitty Finding It's Way Into An Emo Goth Girls Wardrobe?

In an effort to find something different to write about for this blog, I went onto Ebay and conducted a search for goth emo and I was surprised at the results. There are currently over 1600 items for sale on Ebay listed under goth emo. One of these items being Hello Kitty pony tail holders. I must admit, that would have been the last item I would have expected to find it's way into a goth emo girls wardrobe.

When I think of emo goth girls, as most people do, I think of dark colors like black, gray and red. I didn't think pink fit into the goth emo color scheme, but then again you learn something new every day!

How to Understand Emo and Goth

If you are an older person knowing and understanding emo and goth is probably difficult for you.

The first thing you must understand is that these terms provide a lose definition to a behavior, look, and social group. Generally the dress and music is what separates emo and goth.

To get a good reference point to begin to understand these groups I would recommend doing a search on the Internet. Try to read as much as you can especially straight from a goth or emo person this will help to give an insight into their thinking.

If you have a child that is heading towards either goth or emo it is very important to understand where they are coming from so that you can be there to help them with whatever bothers them. Don’t stop learning about these social groups so that you can be there, and never stop listening and paying attention to your child. These groups are not inherently bad, but as with almost everything, things can go wrong when your not paying attention.

Here are some must haves for Goths Goth Emo black creepy satanic 'bedroom.' When most people think Goth they think of black. Black can be used in bedroom décor, but it needs to be used wisely. Painting all of your walls black will have your room hotter in summer months. Black should be used carefully and as an accent color or for a splash of detail.

Red is the next color in Goth Emo design for your bedroom. Red is another color that can overpower a room quickly. While it’s sensual and exciting, it too should be used in moderation.

Grey is the color of masonry stone that castles were made out of. This would be a great choice for wall color. Stone grey paint or even stone finish wallpaper would do nicely.

Goth Emo People Must Check Out This New EP

Goth Emo people have a new CD to check out. In their lasts release, As Tall as Lions through Triple Crown Records has put out a short EP. The CD titled "Into the Flood" has a total of 5 songs.

Following the true Emo style this is an ultra depressing yet very good sound. If you already enjoy Coldplay then you should check out the latest from As Tall as Lions. Many have said that As Tall as Lions sounds more like Coldplay than Coldplay themselves.

If you hurry up and buy the CD you will beat all the other followers of the Emo style of music. This CD is a sleeper. Mark my words you will be hearing a lot about this EP before you know it.

New Poster Girl for Goth Emo?

Ashlee Simpson now the new poster girl for goth emo? After spending Christmas at home with family, Ashlee Simpson and boyfriend Pete Wentz hosted a New Year's Eve party in Miami.

Ashlee Simpson has given up on the girlie pop singer look for one that is more like her man's. Ashlee was photographed wearing black pants, a black rocker tee, and dark shades. Pete Wentz's fashion style of the goth emo look is apparently rubbing off on his mate. The look is a little off with her blonde hair falling over her black clothes, but I'm sure the black hair is not too far off!
