The New Look of Goth Women.

There is a new Goth subculture that has recently popped up in the Japanese culture. This is not you're a typical Goth look most women flock to, this new gothic subculture is more of a dark side of Alice in Wonderland. The Japanese gothic Lolita sport black baby doll dresses.

These Gothic looking women do not adapt to typical gothic culture of European and American cultures. The Japanese gothic Lolitas listen to Visual Rock, and like to pose for tourist. These beautiful doll like women just sit around and look pretty.

These new breeds of Gothic women are really something to see. Although I do not see the two gothic types meshing any time soon, the point is that the Japanese Goth women just want to be different as with other Goth women all over the world.

Wondering How To Be Goth

If you are considering making a stand in your life and the Goth culture is appealing to you, there are two good resources on the Internet that give you steps on how to be Goth.

Like everything else in the world, there is information on how to be Goth on www.wikipedia.org. That website gives you vague ideas on how to be Goth, like dress the part, listen to Goth music and read magazines. It does not seem to give you much information on how to be Goth, just general ideas which I'm sure you can figure ot on your own!

The second website I found, which I recommend is: www.the-night.net. Here are the seven steps on how to be Goth per their website. This in only a rough outline of the steps, and I strongly suggest you visit their website and read through all of the information they put together for each of the steps!

Is Marilyn Manson One of Today's Goth Bands?

Now from the numerous Goth websites that I have visited over the past few months, hardcore Goths do not consider Marilyn Manson one of today's Goth bands. For some reason, not everyone reads up on the Goth culture before writing about Goths!

Apparently, Marilyn Manson has come out with his own brand of absinthe. Supposedly this new liquor is aimed at the Goth crowd as stated on facebook. But from what I've read Marilyn Manson is not considered Goth by the Goth crowd, so how could his band be a Goth band?

In any event, Marilyn Manson's 'Mansinthe' is apparently compared to sewage water and or swamp mud. Just because a person is Goth, does that mean they should drink sewage flavored alcohol? I’m sure every Marilyn Manson fan outside the US (absinthe is illegal in the US) will try his new beverage, but who really is a the target audience for sewage flavored liquor, possibly Oscar the grouch?

Goth Emo, Something to Worry About?

I have read quite a few websites and articles that suggest that there is something wrong with the Goth Emo youth of today. While I cannot and will not even attempt to even suggest I know and or understand what is going through the minds of today's youth, what I will do is accept their right to be different.

I am not one who follows all of the celebrity gossip, as I don't really care who Brittany is married to, or that her sister is pregnant, like we didn't see that one coming…but most Goth Emo kids and teens just want to feel like they belong. If they happen to feel that they belong with friends who are Goth Emo, then so be it.

You may not agree with the choice, but who among us didn't want to rebel against their parents’ wishes. Are you mad that they are not following the path you laid out, or that they had the guts to rebel while you conformed?

As with all sudden changes you see in your kids, you should worry and investigate to a point, as long as your child’s well being is the reason.

Goth Baby Gifts, There Is Such A Thing!

While I was always taught never to dress kids or young children in black, that is apparently no longer the rule. Most new parents like to inflict their personal tastes onto their children. Baseball outfits, cheerleading outfits for dad's favorite team, so why not Goth.

If the mom to be is Goth, then yes purchasing black clothing or other Goth baby gifts is very much appropriate. A gift of Goth shows the mom to be that you accept her decision to be Goth, and proves you are an open minded person.

For now the Goth gifts are limited to a variety of clothing items and bibs.

Well after checking out a few websites looking for Goth shoes, I finally found one that offered Goth shoes in a color other than black. Black is of course a staple in Goth dress, but everyone wants a little color now and again.

Mary Janes are very popular on all of the websites I found that sell Goth shoes. Another popular favorite is the Chinese slipper. I did also find a lot of boots, and a variety of other styles.

One interesting pair of heals had a spider web on the front of the shoe. I personally want to purchase the bat and or witch shoes.

Goth Emo People, This Website is for You

Of course in my opinion, this website should be the first one you visit for your goth Emo needs, but in the event you are looking for a variety of information on other goth emo people, then you can also visit gothicnews.com.

Gothicnews.com has postcards you can send to other goth emo people that you are friends with, or you can chat with other goth emo people and discuss things that others outside the goth emo circle may not understand.

There are also a section of Goth babes of the week. I am not sure how to nominate someone for the honor of goth babe of the week, but I am sure you can contact the website to find out!

Emo Goth Girls

Emo goth girls are sometimes not what the cover looks like. I have seen my young women that dress in the style of goth or emo simply to draw attention. "Clean up" many of these women are beautiful.

Yesterday was Wednesday and the final episode of the auditions for American Idol was on. I love to watch the audition episodes they crack me up. Back to goth emo girls, there was a young goth maybe emo looking woman auditioning. Through the make up, black streaky hair, and piercings I found her to be quit attractive and her voice was good. Turns out this woman is a nurse, which goes to show you that you should never judge a book by its cover.

If you consider yourself goth or emo and are trying to design your myspace page, there are quite a few choices for free myspace layout emo goth online for you to choose from. Darkestpoint.com, is one of the websites that I found. Not only do they have goth myspace layouts, they also have scary contact boxes and a variety of goth icons to further decorate your myspace page.

There is definitely no shortage of goth emo items online to enhance your myspace page. After all, why have a myspace page, if you can’t make it reflect who you really are?
