Emo Goth Punk Teens Beaten Down in Mexico

Emo Goth Punk

According to the Sierra Vista Herald, a group of Emo Goth Punk teens were beaten down by a mob of teens in Glorieta Insurgentes, a Zona Rosa neighborhood. This story has made national news, as the story has been reported in both the US and Canada thus far.

As the Sierra Vista herald states, on March 8th of this year a small group of Emo teens were hanging out in the square when a mob of 200 teen responded to a call to arms on an Internet blog site and pummeled the group of Emos with sticks and pipes.

The same Internet blog site had been posting hateful blogs towards Emos for a few weeks. The mob had gone as far as to post violent videos on YouTube which were titled “how to kill an Emo.” This same group is now threatening Mexican metal heads warning them to steer clear of the State fair in April.

Emo Goth coming to a Gaming System near You?

Emo Goth

With the popularity of the Emo Goth culture in today's society, it should be no surprise that Goth Emo has made its way into the virtual gaming world.

Doodle Hex is a new game that is being launched in May of this year. Doodle Hex is a game of magical dueling. Each player (doodler) fights their opponent by drawing runes, such as blasts of fire or curses to inflict on their opponent. Within this new magical game the Goth Emo culture has found its way into the characters you can choose to be.

You can either be Strat, the Emo rock star, or you can be Fey, a Goth Witch. In either case, your drawing skills are what will get you through the game. Perfect for all those artistic Goth Emos out there.

Have you seen a Fat Goth?

Fat Goth

For some reason you never see a fat Goth girl? It is somewhat confusing to me actually. One would think that a culture that dresses primarily in all black (a slimming color on most women) would be appealing to fat people.

I also would think that the culture, which generally accepts other people in their culture, as they are all considered outcast's by the rest of society would be appealing to fat people. If finding the need to impress other people instead of just being true to yourself, then the Goth culture is not for you.

Could it possibly be that more fat people believe they stand out already, and do not want to draw any additional attention to them? What do you think?

Hot Goths, the New Fashion trend?

Hot Goths

If you are Goth hardcore, then you may not enjoy this topic very much. It seems that the world of fashion is now incorporating the Goth look into the ever famous, Fashion week in New York City. It apparently is going to be the look for fall, because designers in Paris went as far as to have their models pale skinned donning black lipstick as thy traipsed down the run way. These hot Goths showed the world what we can expect for fall.

In a nutshell, we can look forward to monochrome clothes with low hemlines and high necks, few color choices and plain fabrics. Nothing very sexy about this look be sure to keep some pieces you have from this year if you want o be feminine!

Is this 14 Year Old a Goth Angel?

In a trial currently going on in the UK, a 999 (the UK's version of 911) phone call was played in court yesterday for all to hear. What the court room heard could possibly be that of a Goth angel.

A fourteen girl happened upon two Goth people that had been beaten almost to death, just for simply being Goth. There were two victims in the attack, which happened in August of 2007. The woman who was attacked died two weeks later from the injuries she suffered in the beating. Her 21 year old boyfriend, who was also beaten, has not fully recovered from his injuries.

The fourteen year old that dialed 999 while witnessing the attack had stayed on the phone with the operator for thirteen minutes as the five teenagers beat the young couple.

Goth Drawings A Dime A Dozen?

Goth Drawings

Goth drawings are just about a dime a dozen. That is by no means meant to be a negative comment. It is just at that it seems (to me) that more and more Goths are expressing their feelings through art. There are a limited number of Goth bands out there, and you do not see too many of them poping up, so logically, Emos and Goths are expressing themselves in some other form of art.

The topic of Goth drawings is typically dim and gloomy, as is the nature of the Goth culture, but none the less, these are truly works of original art.

Emo Punk

Emo Punk

So Emo is showing up everywhere. The latest Emo punk to show his true shallow personality is Danny Noriega. I believe Emo people are just attention seeking selfish shallow people and Danny Noriega is perfect proof of that.

If you are not familiar with whom Danny Noriega is I will tell you. He is a contestant on this year's American Idol. He has an okay voice, not that good, and a really bad attitude. After viewing his selfish, self-righteous video on YouTube I was glad to see him go tonight. Then I am sitting watching his “exit video” on the show and his crappy attitude showed through. At least the viewers of American Idol got it right and got this Emo punk off the show.

Goth Cartoons, Something to Lighten up Your Dark Side?

Goth Cartoons

There are many websites out there that have Goth cartoons. Cartoonstock.com is only one of the many websites that have Goth cartoons available. Cartoonstock.com has cartoons for all genres and ages available for your viewing pleasure.

Goth cartoons are geared at the trials and tribulations of today's Goth culture. Some are funny and some are simply amusing, but they deal with and lighten up the subject of Goth culture. Of all of the Goth cartoons I looked at, none were offensive simply joking about numerous piercings and pale skin.

Offthemark.com is another website that had one caption Goth cartoons on their website as well. One shows a Goth grandma, simply amusing.
